In the aftermath of the Lahaina fires, this single mother suffered the sudden loss of her husband. While still grieving, she discovered that the home she shares with her daughter is severely contaminated with mold — so unsafe that her daughter has had to move in with friends. What began as a mold remediation project has grown far more costly: the work also requires asbestos abatement, pushing the price well beyond her reach. Your donation will help fund the remediation, abatement, and restoration work she needs to make her home safe again — and to bring her daughter back under her own roof.
