• Application information. When a family applies for help, we collect contact details, household and property information, photos, and documentation needed to verify need and eligibility.
• Donor information. When you donate, we collect your name, contact details, and the amount of your gift. Payments are processed by our payment providers; we do not store full card numbers.
• Contractor and partner information. Business contact details, service areas, licensing, and the bids, invoices, and project updates you submit.
• Usage information. Basic technical data such as device and browser type and pages visited, used to keep the site secure and working.

We use the information we collect to:

• Review applications and coordinate restoration work.
• Process donations and send receipts and acknowledgments.
• Communicate with families, donors, contractors, and partners.
• Operate, secure, and improve our services and prevent fraud.
• Meet legal, accounting, and reporting obligations.

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to run our programs:

• With contractors, partner organizations, and our fiscal sponsor to coordinate approved restoration work.
• With service providers (such as payment processors and hosting) that work on our behalf under confidentiality obligations.
• When required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of families, our community, or Ohana Restore.

Family stories and photos are only shown publicly with permission, and we omit sensitive details wherever we can.

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information and limit access to those who need it. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your data safe. We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and you can opt out of non-essential emails at any time. To make a request, email us at info@ohanarestore.org. We may need to keep certain records to meet legal and accounting requirements.

Our services are directed to adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children except as part of a family’s application, submitted by a parent or guardian.
