This home belongs to two beloved kūpuna who have found themselves in desperate need of help. Their daughter-in-law, has moved in to be by their side — choosing family over everything to ensure they are not alone during this difficult time. The love she has for these elders speaks volumes about the heart of this ʻohana. Sadly, the home's condition has become a serious safety concern. The family has had to lay down plywood just to walk through the living room — a heartbreaking reality for kūpuna who deserve comfort and stability in their golden years. They are reaching out with hope, trusting that their community will show up for them the way they have always shown up for others.
